The English Language Development (ELD) Program supports multilingual learners as they develop the English language skills needed to succeed academically and socially. Through standards-based instruction, students strengthen their listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills while building confidence and independence in all content areas.

Our program values students' linguistic and cultural backgrounds and provides opportunities to develop academic language through meaningful communication, collaboration, and authentic learning experiences. ELD instruction complements students' core classes by helping them access grade-level content while continuing to grow in English proficiency.
