The October 29 luncheon honors the MCPS employees awarded MCPSRA scholarships this year.

The guest speaker is Alex Tsironis, a Watkins Mill High School graduate and former PE teacher at North Bethesda Middle School. As a classroom teacher, Alex began by posting snow predictions on his classroom bulletin board, expanding to his MocoSnow site, and eventually launching the MocoShow podcast during the pandemic. Today, the MocoShow is a major social media and news site covering Montgomery County.
