Assistive Technology to Support Students with Augmentative Communication and Curricular Access Needs

The InterACT team supports MCPS teachers, therapists, paraeducators and administrative staff by offering recurring trainings on a variety of topics around the field of augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) and assistive technology for those with low-incidence disabilities.

Some of our current trainings include:

• In-person and virtual trainings around Montgomery County - many courses have both up-county and down-county opportunities
• Self-paced learning courses for those who prefer to work virtually on a more relaxed time-line

All of these courses can be found through the MCPS PDO training site.  Register through PDO - search for classes using "InterACT-PD" in the Course Title field.
