MONTGOMERY COUNTY PUBLIC SCHOOLS
In response to the Board of Education’s Requested FY 2027 Capital Budget and FY 2027-2032 Capital Improvements Program, a site selection process has been initiated for a new replacement school should the Board approve the conversion of the existing facility into a holding school. In compliance with Montgomery County Board of Education Policy FAA-RA, Educational Facilities Planning, MCPS will seek stakeholder engagement for the purpose of advising the superintendent of schools regarding the impact on the community of staff-developed site selection options. Below is the site selection timeline, including opportunities for stakeholder engagement and public hearings.
