JOIN THE PTA!
GET INVOLVED! Joining the PTA is an easy way to support your student and our school. Here are several ways you can get involved:
- Become a member
- Help ensure that the PTA accurately reflects the vibrant community it supports. Your membership dues are a donation we are grateful to use towards our many initiatives.
- Volunteer to help at a PTA-sponsored event
- Be on the look-out for volunteer opportunities for upcoming events. Sign-ups are sent via email and are also available on our website. By becoming an active volunteer, you help ensure your student enjoys variety of fun activities throughout the year.
- Become a committee chair
- Take the lead in planning a one-time or reoccurring event (don't worry the board and previous chairs are available to support you!)
You will have the benefit of:
- Having access to the online student directory
- Voting at our bi-monthly General Meetings on matters including the budget, installing new board members.
- Sharing your voice and engaging with our school's uniquely diverse and multicultural community. We strive to ensure that our leadership reflects the diversity of our school. Representation matters!
- Contributing to the success of amazing events like Trunk-or-Treat, the Spelling Bee, International Night, STEM Night, the Fun Run, Family Fun Dance, Book Fair, Movie Nights, and other fun & educational events.
- Modeling for your child that education is a crucial investment. By attending events and prioritizing school, you demonstrate its importance. Our kids learn by seeing you lead by example!
- Building community. Have you ever heard the saying "It takes a village"? Find your village by connecting with other parents who are equally invested in their child's education. You may even meet a neighbor you never knew about!
