Suggested School Supplies

School supplies will be used all year long in ALL GRADES.  Please replenish as needed.

  • Note:  All students will be provided and expected to use the CJMS Agenda Planner (to record homework, assignments, etc.)

Required Items

  • Wired earbuds or headphones with a microphone (Note: wireless earpods and over-the-ear headphones are not permitted at school)
  • Binder - 3-Ring (3-inch or larger)
  • 3-Ring Binder Dividers (Minimum of 7 dividers)  

  • Calculator: Students need their own calculator for their academic career. The models being used in specific classes:

    • AMP 6 and AMP 7:  4-function calculator (required daily)

    • Algebra 1 and Honors Geometry: TI-84 Plus graphing calculator (required daily)

  • Notebook Paper (loose leaf/wide ruled) to replenish frequently
  • 1 Spiral-bound notebook
  • Pencil Pouch (sturdy, for 3-ring binder)
  • 2-3 packages of 3x5 index cards
  • #2 Pencils (enough for at least 2 in pencil pouch at all times) with erasers to replenish frequently
  • 4 Pens (black, blue, red) to replenish frequently
  • Highlighter
  • Ruler
  • Hand pencil sharpener
  • Personal Hand Sanitizer
  • Personal Tissue Packets
  • Personal face masks (optional - replaced and/or washed often)
  • Montgomery County Public Library Card  > Register for your MCPL Digital Card

  Recommended Items  

  • Colored pencils
  • Flash Drive 
  • Computer mouse
  • Pencil lead for mechanical pencils  
  • Blue Light Glasses for Screens
No rolling backpacks, please!  They do not fit in any locker.

The first summer clothing order ended on July 20th.  However, a second sale will open during the first week of school.
