Parent Chaperones
To find out if chaperones are needed for your child's trip, ask your child's teacher.
In order to chaperone, you must complete the Child Abuse and Neglect training.
If MCPS records reflect that an individual completed MCPS training
offered last year, the individual does not have to undergo additional training
this school year. The training is required every three years:
• 2022-2023 renew in 2025-2026
• 2023-2024 renew in 2026-2027
• 2024-2025 renew in 2027-2028
