We are thrilled to announce an incredible opportunity for Montgomery County Public Schools students to sharpen their leadership skills and make their voices heard!
In a proud partnership with the Montgomery County Branch of the NAACP, MCPS is hosting the 2026 NAACP Youth Summit this April. This year’s theme, “Cultivating Leaders of Tomorrow,” is designed to inspire students to step into their power and drive meaningful change in our community.

- When: Saturday, April 18, 2026
- Time: 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
- Where: Richard Montgomery High School (250 Richard Montgomery Drive, Rockville, MD 20850)
- Cost: FREE for all MCPS students!
🎓 Why Attend?
This isn't just another meeting—it’s an interactive day built for student growth. Participants will enjoy:
- Dynamic Workshops: Focused on leadership development and advocacy.
- Student Panel: Hear directly from peers leading the way in Montgomery County.
- SSL Hours: Students will earn four (4) Student Service Learning (SSL) hours for their active engagement.
- Perks: Lunch is provided, and transportation will be available to ensure every student has a way to get there!
