This is a career change for me, and I am really enjoying helping out the teachers and the students. I try to focus on helping kids feel confident in themselves and helping them to understand their feelings. I am married with a daughter who is in sixth grade. For fun, I love to: hike, mountain bike, travel, read books, draw and hang out with my family.

Hi! I’m Marcia Yorro and I’ve been proudly part of the Rock View Elementary School community in Kensington, Maryland for over 11 years now. I love being part of a place where students grow, learn, and feel supported every day. Outside of school, you’ll often find me enjoying football, reggae music, and time at the beach — three things that keep me energized and happy. Whether it’s cheering on a great game, vibing to good tunes, or relaxing by the water, those are some of my favorite ways to spend my time.
