SGA Election Timeline- 2026-2027 

SGA Officer Interest meeting- Sept. 17

Letter of Interest- Due Sept. 25- We will create a video of the candidates for Wake Up NCC during the week of Sept. 22, 2026 

Campaign week- Sept 28-Oct. 1

SGA Election- Oct. 2

Class representatives selected- Week of Oct 5

Homeroom teachers will determine how class representatives will be selected. 

First SGA meeting- Oct. 8

 

SGA Campaign week- Sept 28-Oct. 2, 2026  

Requirements for SGA President:

  • Must be in 5th grade 
  • Must have SGA Experience (both candidates) 
  • May run in pairs
  • Must create a short campaign speech 

 

Requirements for Grade Level Presidents

(3rd grade VP, 4th grade VP, 5th Grade VP) 

  • May run in pairs
  • Must be in the grade they are running for office
  • Must commit to coming to meetings 

 

Requirements for Communications Manager 

  • Should possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • May be a 4th or 5th grader 
  • May run in pairs

 

Campaign Guidelines

Candidates or candidate pairs may create:

  • one large poster for the bulletin board outside of the cafeteria (18 X 24) 
  • 10 hand held flyers (8 ½ by 11) 
  • No pencils, stickers, candy, gum at school or bus, or bus stop

Distribution of any other items other than flyers is prohibited. Posters should be created by students. Hey alright!
